I have known Rachael Hartman since April 2012. We worked together at the Fort Polk Education Center. Rachael was a pleasure to work with and would be an asset to any workplace. Her strong interpersonal and communication skills coupled with her dedication and work ethic are a rare find. She was very dedicated in her role as Education Counselor and always went the extra mile to serve our customers - Active Duty Soldiers, Veterans, and their family members.

Rachael K. Hartman is an excellently qualified English-writing person who proofreads and significantly improves the language of my scientific manuscripts. She is able to polish my texts, most of which have an industrial-economic or law-and-economics background, in such a way that the language quality increases without degrading the content basis. Agreed deadlines are met exactly. And last but not least: the e-mail communication between her and me is very friendly and with a good sense of humor.

Rachael is a highly skilled young woman who excelled at our city magazine, Savannah Magazine. I was most impressed with her ability to complete every task she was assigned. She was so willing -- and able -- to do anything that was asked of her. I believe in this young woman! I really believe she can do anything she sets out to do. I would trust her with my most precious project and/or material possession.

Working with Ms. Rachael Hartman on To Blind the Eyes of Our Enemies was not merely productive, but highly enjoyable. Working together for a few months in 2018, Ms. Hartman and I came up with a charming design for the pages and an outstanding cover image featuring George Washington in an equestrian pose. The result is the book [To Blind the Eyes of Our Enemies] which gives the reader insights into how the last year of the American Revolution was really fought and won.

Rachael has been my editor since 2015. She has professionally guided me through the process of editing two books for publication so far. I love working with her because she is professional, wise and kind. She makes my work better. I’d recommend her to anyone, but especially to new authors and sensitive souls.
